How long does it take to make a custom chuppah? |
| It varies, but as a general rule you should plan on ordering your custom chuppah at least 10-12 weeks before
the date when you need it to be ready. Chuppahs that include family heirlooms or photos printed on fabric may require
additional time—it's best to allow at least 4 months lead time for this type of chuppah.

I just found you and my wedding is next month. It is still possible to order a custom chuppah? |
| Depending on our availability and what type of chuppah you want, we may be able to accommodate late requests for chuppahs--although
we may have to limit the complexity of the design to allow it to be produced in a short time. Occasionally we may have premade chuppahs available for sale. Please email us
for current availability.

What is the process for ordering a chuppah? |
| Since each of our chuppahs is custom made, the process begins when you contact us to let
us know your wedding date and
what type of chuppah you're interested in. We will respond with a design proposal suggesting some different options and giving
pricing for each. When you're ready to order, you'll sign the order agreement included with the proposal and return it to us with a 50% deposit. At that point, your chuppah is officially "on order." [back to top] |
When is payment due for my order? |
| A deposit of 50% of the total balance is due at the time the order is placed, with the remaining balance
due 7 days before the wedding or when the chuppah is shipped or delivered, whichever is earlier. Orders for items already in stock
(such as sample chuppahs) and chuppah orders placed less than 4 weeks before the wedding date must be paid in full at the time
of the order.

What types of payment do you accept? |
| We accept Visa, Mastercard and personal checks payable to "gray dove design."

What is your cancellation policy? |
| Once you have signed and returned the order agreement, you will have 5 business days to change your mind and
cancel the order. After that point, agreement to cancel an order is solely at our discretion. Orders cancelled after the 5-day window may be subject to a restocking fee,
the amount of which will be determined by gray dove at the time of cancellation.

What is your return policy? |
We sincerely hope you'll be delighted with our work and that our products will exceed
your expectations! However, if you're not satisfied with one of our products, the following is our return policy:
For custom made items, including all chuppahs except those expressly sold as "samples," the decision to accept a return is solely at the discretion of gray dove. Depending on the reason for the return request, we may choose to repair or replace the item, issue a credit or partial refund, or accept the return, with or without a restocking fee. For all types of products, we cannot accept returns of used items, except in cases where the item is defective. |
